4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

If any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. NAFOA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with notice to attendees.

By registering for or attending any NAFOA Event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions set forth by NAFOA. I am of legal age and have the right to contract in my own name.

Registration Policies

All persons attending a NAFOA Event must be registered

Each event participant must be registered under the proper registration type to access and participate in NAFOA events. Only member tribes of NAFOA in good standing are eligible to register at the reduced member tribe rate. To receive the member tribe rate, participant must  be an employee of either the tribe or a wholly-owned tribal enterprise. In addition, participant must be representing the tribe or enterprise at the conference.

Checks payment policy: To be eligible for the reduced early rate, checks must be received by the early-bird cut-off date.

Name Badges

Registration grants individual access to and participation in a NAFOA event. Official conference name badges are distributed to all NAFOA Event participants. A name badge serves as a pass to breakout sessions, general sessions, the exhibit area, networking events, and other sanctioned NAFOA events and/or activities.. No one will be allowed entrance into sessions, the exhibit hall, or networking events without an official name badge.

A single badge is issued to an individual registrant. Badge sharing or badge swapping is strictly prohibited. Badge sharing is defined as the use or wearing of a name badge by anyone other than the person identified on the name badge. Violations of this policy may result in cancellation of the registration without refund and expulsion of all parties from the event.

Substitution Policy

Registration substitutions are permitted. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for providing updated contact information via email. Substitutes are only permissible if the substituting individual qualifies for the original attendee’s registration type.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees (minus a $50 processing fee) will be refunded if a written cancellation notice is received by the cancellation deadline designated for each conference. After this date, a credit will be held for one year to attend a future NAFOA Conference.  Attendees must contact NAFOA for instructions on how to use their credit.  Credits are not applied automatically.

Attendee Lists

NAFOA does not sell or rent registrants’ personal information to third parties. Event attendee information, including full name, title, and organization, will be available to other registered attendees through the conference app.

If you receive a message stating that a NAFOA event attendee list is for sale or rent, please do not respond as the sender is not affiliated with NAFOA and may be attempting a scam.
